Lady Apricot Takes on Japan

I am so bad at updating this space now.  Well I live in Doha so there isnt much to do.  Last week Kirsten and Ryan finally got married.  I returned home to be bridesmaid.  It was a truly wonderful day.  It rained all morning and I had managed to get fake tan all over Kirsten's mum's bedsheets, so i was scared to get up because i thought everyone would be in a bad mood.  But as if by magic, the sun came out for the ceremony and the photos. A miracle in Scotland in spring.  Ive added the photos on the side.  Have a wee look see xxx

Since coming back to dohell, I managed to give myself laryngitis and be in bed for a week.  No speaking ( difficult for a jojo), had no voice at all.  Bored bored bored.  But im feeling much better thank goodness.  Back to work, and sad to say I actually missed my class.  Was gratefull to get back to them.  Not that that lasted for long once i was back in the class.  I think about 10 mins before i was hitting the whiteboard with a ruler.  Still had no voice, so couldnt get the to shut up any other way hahahaha.

 

Besides that not much to report.  Work still a little bit stressful, which is making me miss Japan loads and loads.  But my kids are great and so Im trying to focus on to that to make it more enjoyable.  I'm sure ill survive and my mood will improve lots.

 

Last weekend Nadia turned 30 and we headed out to pearl to celebrate. Some of us celebrated more than others.  The poor birthday girl was left to drive everyone home (many worse the wear) at the end of the night.  Had a good night. Photos below.

 

My Minno left doha a couple of day ago.  I missed most of her leaving party.  I think i may have managed to stay for a whole hour before my throat got too sare and i scuttled back to my PJs and bed.  Looks like i missed a fun nite tho.  Always the way tho.  NO ONE and i mean NO ONE sticks to the rule.  No fun without the Jojo. Its simple enough LOL!  I mean i write it here often enough!  heehee. She's gone back to Scotland (via Italy).  Hope she can survive the cold and rain of Aberdeen.  But so glad she's there.  She can keep and eye on that mad ickle sister of mine. Haha more spies gotta love it.  Watch urself bratgirl. haha. 

 

 

 

 

Last week at work was horrible, and so when the weekend appreared I wasn't in the mood for doing anything.  I stayed home in my PJs and watched tv and opened a bottle of wine. It was lovely hahaha.  Friday night I headed out for sashimi and sushi.  It was actually good, and killed my craving for Japanese food. I dont think i could have lasted another month until I get back to Himeji.  Now i know i can get decent japanese food in Doha i feel happy.  Countin the day until im back in Himeji  32 today. 

 

 

Hello one and all.  This weekend was ellys birthday.  So it was a weekend of partying, which actually continued to last night as well.  We went to a bar, in a stretch limo. Jenn had organised it all, being a superstar.  So we girls and Rory pilled in and headed to Paloma.  Rory was surrounded by 6 girls in a limo. 

 

Friday night we heading to a Hip hop party.  Where i danced my little legs off.  My feet hurt so much.  I decided to get a piggy-back to the car at the end of the night.  However i was wearing low-rise jeans and a boob-chube top.  As u jumped up on my friends back, i flashed my left boob to the world. Oh the shame.  hahaha. 

 

Now its back to work.  speak again soon .  Is it the holidays yet?? 

 

 

Heehee a fun weekend was had.  I met up with my old friends and we had a really fun night.  I also got my new baby.  A brand new 4x4.  Its lovely.  Since picking it yesterday evening Ive managed to drive 150km.  I went cruising last night.  I love it. Ill put a photo on later.  My camera has no battery now.  Cant wait til i leave work so I can go for another drive
